I hate it that I’m so cynical.
I get your cynicism but yhis is a good thing, they literally cannot do any worse than what the public education system would inflict on their children!
And yet, black Americans won’t vote for the political party who for YEARS has been trying to build up school choice and supported homeschooling.
All 3 of them?
I wouldn't be surprised if the homeschooling blacks are less inclined to vote Dim than most blacks. I go to a church that's majority black. I wish I had a dollar for every time a black person who was married and raising their family as dual parents and/or someone who was in a successful profession that wasn't government (i.e. a CPA or an entrepreneur) walked up to me and said that the Democrat party didn't represent him, or that George Floyd wasn't her hero, etc. I don't hear that from the single parents or the welfare check blacks in the church. But I hear it some from the Godly family blacks and some of the successful on their own blacks. I wouldn't be surprised if homeschooling blacks were the same.
Black, white, green or purple as long as they’re producing intelligent productive morally good people.
Wait a minute. A positive story on homeschooling? The media used to portray anyone who was homeschooled as a dangerous, ignorant, racist or terrorist.
Not a story on homeschooling, but a story on black homeschooling, hence the positive nature of the piece. They still think white homsecshoolers are Nazis.
Thanks for your response. This is where I have been confused.....I work with a guy that is a Christian. We discuss the Bible and our theology is identical.
However, he votes straight (D) , believes in CRT, government “caring” for the poor, believes it’s the right to abort, watches CNN and spouts the same crap. But he despises the Gay/Trans crap——He is from Puerto Rico FWIW.
But this is where things don’t make sense to me-—how could we agree on everything in God’s Word, but we don’t agree on anything (almost) that’s going on in the world?
Yeah, the media is probably relieved about this because most of those black students would be taught by mostly white teachers, who have ZERO understanding of their plight despite the liberal rhetoric.
Even if he's truly sincere, there are still cultural associations with politics. It makes no sense to me that Dims wholly support the party of slavery and segregation that today says blacks are so stupid they wouldn't know what pot to pee in without smart white Dims to point it out. But groupthink among other blacks make supporting Dims seem like the black thing to do. Maybe your coworker from Puerto Rico has a similar backstory. It could be habitual more than anything. I know I'm better off not eating sweets, but I'm tempted to do it because I've done it so much in the past. Some of the professional and Godly blacks I know still vote Dim because they've done so all their lives, even though they know the Dims are probably the most organized anti-Christian group in the U.S. today.
Then there's pride. People get so emotionally invested in politics and spew so much out of their mouths, it's embarrassing to admit to themselves later that they were duped. Even when it becomes obvious to some of them that they've been duped, they're afraid that being against the Dims today is admitting to others and themselves that in the past they were easily fooled by the God denying, baby butchering, freedom sucking, race baiting, anti American, pedo grooming, cow fart warmageddon cult Dims.
When white families do this, they are domestic terrorists.
I think we’ve seen the results of “black home schooling” for a long time.
You make good points.....It’s weird because the guy I walk with on lunch breaks is Black and from Nigeria. He and I see eye to eye on everything.....So your point at the beginning makes sense “where’s his heart”. His mid might know Christ but his heart is off somewhere else-—but that is not for me to judge.
The guy I walk with from Nigeria is a Christian....I forgot to mention that.
As Trump asked the Black voters- What have you got to lose?
