I moved to CA in ‘73 from the east and midwest living in the Bay Area. Most of my sweaters were bought in Monterey or Carmel. We’d leave a nice 75 or 80 degree summer day in the Bay Area and get to 55 or 60 degrees on the Monterey Peninsula. It never failed — I always forgot to bring a sweater or jacket with me.

I was in Northridge the last time it snowed in LA (1989). What a weird morning that was. Snow everywhere from Santa Barbara down thru LA and into Orang County. I thought somebody was playing a major prank when I went to get into my car and it was covered by a foot of snow.

Addendum: These weather "prognostications" remind me of the railing about "climate change" and it's attendant nonsense. Always in the future, never addressed because of the time line. These clowns give you bullcrap and forget when nothing comes true, in a week or never, just as planned.
