That doesn’t make them ‘natural born’... with the 14th amendment they are still ‘native born’ citizens... which is why the Constitution would need amending to get rid of ‘anchor babies.’

The exclusions listed above also apply to Kamala Harris.. neither of her parents were citizens when she was born.

I respectfully disagree. The word "native" as in "native born" doesn't depend on location. It's defined as "being such by birth or origin".

14th Amendment text:
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.

To your point, the phrase: "All persons born or naturalized in the United States..." seems to back up your point about people born on U.S. soil. That is, until you get to the phrase "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof". To me that means if you're born a citizen of another country (subject to that country's laws) then your birth on U.S. soil doesn't count as making you a natural born citizen. And we have precedent of that with indigenous Americans (I hate to say "Native Americans" in this context LOL) being born off of the reservation (and thus on U.S. soil) but not being counted as U.S. citizens. They didn't become U.S. citizens until much later by the 1924 Indian Citizenship Act.

The phrase “natural born Citizen” appears in the constitution, the phrase “native born citizen” does not.

she knows she is in trouble After few calls of inquiry to her headquarters during the campaign she took the info about her parents off the web site. Those who dispute the definition of NBC need oly look at the guilty behavior of those being questioned.
