That's certainly what TPTB seem to want.

Did the SCUD missile that hit the Pentagon on 9/11 come from Ukraine?

I was a Patriot missile Army Officer during my career in the Army. This seems like an expensive way to shoot down cheap drones unless they will use it to shoot down Russian cruise missiles.

The Ukrainians can already shoot down most drones and cruise missiles and are getting better at it. Patriot systems will be focused on incoming ballistic missiles.

I was a 12B. Hope you'll find the following to be interesting.

Thanks for your service.

One of the guys I worked with was in Gulf War 1.
He talked about loading new software with floppy disks into the system pretty much every day, so obviously there was lots of development going on.

“Probably not-”

The SS Scud one was first deployed by the Soviets in the mid-1960s. The missile was originally designed to carry a 100-kiloton nuclear warhead or a 2,000 pound conventional warhead, with ranges from 100 to 180 miles. Its principal threat was its warhead potential to hold chemical or biological agents.

The missile is accurate to about 3 CEP (circular error of probability). But if they use an airburst, it can scatter deployed products to like chemical weapons it would cover an area of about 0.01 to 0.03 km2 in which unprotected people would die; if the attack occurred during unfavorable weather conditions, the lethal area would increase to 0.2 to 0.3 km2. And bio and nuclear would be worse.

Will it help? Depends on how pissed off the Russians get.

The Kyiv Independent is straight NATO intel community/ NGO funded propaganda lol. Is probably the most biased of all the many Western European organs including the Daily Mail. Seed funding for this paper came directly from the Canadian government and the European equivalent of the National Endowment for Democracy. Management and editors come straight from Soros and similar deep state organs. Kyiv Independent is one of the least reliable purveyors of Ukranian agitprop.

Such a SIMPLE ANSWER by Scott. At worst, the Russians will have to waste a few hundred old aircraft, converted to drones, to EXPEND the Patriots of their missiles.

Total failure. I just have to wonder if our ‘diverse’ Defense Industry types have yet realized that we’ve shown our weapons to be paper tigers, when put up against weapons systems designed by straight men (Russian/Chinese engineers).

Great article. Thank you for posting it. Someone posted here yesterday only 15,000 Russian soldiers have been killed. I was attacked when I said anyone with any partiality knows the figure is much higher. When someone asked for documentation I said why? It is no use even conversing with people who believe that figure. The thousands of destroyed Russian military equipment points to a much great number.

If someone says the Holocaust is a hoax is not even worth the time to pull up the records. Walk away.

“That’s certainly what TPTB seem to want.”

Might as well call TPTB what they are: the NEOCONS. This is their war, they’ve wanted it for years. Thankfully Russia was ready for them this time.

“I was a Patriot missile Army Officer during my career in the Army. This seems like an expensive way to shoot down cheap drones unless they will use it to shoot down Russian cruise missiles.”

That’s the problem these days. A cheap drone with a lawnmower engine can still deliver 1000 lbs. or so to its target...so you will need to shoot it down, with something.
