It’s simple.
The whales have re-developed hyperdrive and they are going back to where they came from.
My theory is that it “appears” to happen near bases. But that could just be because bases have people watching all the time. The local business, farm, or residence….not so much.

The most spectacular military base case (imho) was the Loring AFB 1962 case in Maine—hundreds of witnesses—huge craft—witnesses allegedly were hypnotized and turned into “zombies” on the air field under the UFO while folks in the tower looked on in shock.

I am much more impressed by the sightings of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s when there was no modern tech that could be confused with “real” UFOs.
There was “no video” of this one but it was amazing—hundreds of witnesses and radar tracking with military jets scrambled to chased after the UFOs:

The best part—according to some of the experts there are actual (still classified) documents in the archives discussing that one of the UFO craft was shot down—with artifacts still held in a “secret” museum.
This “legacy” stuff is part of what Congress is after right now—if they can get it publicized some folks are gonna be in shock...

My brother told me while sailing his sloop along the coast of Saint Thomas, VI one night years ago, he saw a luminous sparkling watery globe rise out of the sea and zip away. He said it wasn’t very far away and didn’t look particularly large.

Nice on the now defunct Loring. My father was there in the late 60s to mid 70s.
I was just a baby, but he saw one in 1967/68, right before we moved to ME, in Montgomery, AL.

While the 1962 Loring case was the most spectacular one it remained a UFO “hot spot” for many years after that.
He’s deceased, unfortunately. But he told me the Montgomery, AL one many times.
