The most spectacular military base case (imho) was the Loring AFB 1962 case in Maine—hundreds of witnesses—huge craft—witnesses allegedly were hypnotized and turned into “zombies” on the air field under the UFO while folks in the tower looked on in shock.

Nice on the now defunct Loring. My father was there in the late 60s to mid 70s.
I was just a baby, but he saw one in 1967/68, right before we moved to ME, in Montgomery, AL.
