538 says exactly the opposite.

....don’t we (true conservatives.....) wish...!!
I don’t know where these figures come from, but I think
the final outcome in the Senate will be closer than that...
especially since the Ninja-Turtle Mitch does not seem to think it necessary to lend his support to a number of
GOP contenders.....

From your lips to God’s ears.

It’s still tragic that Dems are granted this much control, with everything everyone can know about how absolutely corrupt and wicked they are.

They always will. Sometimes they’re right, but they will always have the most favorable outlook possible for the Dems. This early, it’s ALWAYS the Dems are going to win. If things are looking dire for the Dems, he may dial it back closer to the election, but again, ALWAYS the most favorable outlook possible for the Dems.

I agree, but it's funny how many articles get written just so that the search engine algorithms can access them.

I favor the GOP in the tossup seats as the economy is worsening, inflation is still very high, the border chaos is becoming better known, crime is a major concern.

“GOP: 53 Dem: 47”

That means Dems will have at least a 2 point majority with assistant Democrats Murkowski, Romney, Collins, Graham and others on their side.

MI and MN Gov races are close to lost causes. Mastriano has taken heavy fire in PA, but the race is still surprisingly close.

Gotta’ hold my nose to vote for JD Vance, but I guess I’ll have to.

I’m not so sure. The RINO’s are so craven and avaricious that if most of the new people coming in are MAGA, they’re going to act MAGA before they too get tossed.

Cheney is a good example for them.

Good point.

The GOP has no agenda to motivate voters. Its amazing they ever win any thing.

I’m sticking with D52 R48, and I consider that to be optimistic.

You are paralyzed in your thinking because of a false binary.

Yes, the Democrats are all that you say they are. So are the Republicans, who in some ways are worse.

But what matters is not how YOU see the GOP. What matters is how most non-GOP fanatics see them, and which party the average voter hates more.

It’s sad that that’s how the system works - but it’s reality.

It’s hard for a MAGA candidate. Basically one has to tell voters I want to drain the swamp by going to Washington DC and living there.
