No details available from me...didn't know him personally...just saw his obit posted on "TOS"...other FReepers probably had a lot more interaction with him, seemed like a genuine/nice guy...RIP Quix:

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
Oh, too bad. He was an interesting guy, and we had a number of enjoyable chats back in the day.
Funny, weird, nice pita lol. Rip Sir!
I remember quix
Boy looking down his posts at so many names d
From the past.
Chickensoup in November class of 1998!
Next year will be my Golden Anniversary.
Thanks to Quix, I’ll never trust any Martian, should I ever meet any of them.
RIP
RIP.
Another of my favorite posters from the good ‘ol days has passed.
Thank you for finding this. I was thinking about him a few days ago when I was looking at the plate/bowls he made and sent me just as the lockdown started. He was definitely an interesting man, as well as a wonderful pottery artist, who lived in a trailer and kept his loom in a second trailer.
We used to get into arguments online, so I called him to turn him into a human being in my mind instead of someone to argue with. And was glad I did. I’m truly sorry he’s gone.
A good guy, enjoyed his posts on current events.
I always wonder when a FReeper suddenly stops posting and there is no apparent reason what becomes of them. Thank you Drago, for letting us know that Quix passed.
Prayers up!
peace and good thoughts....hate losing another freeper.
Me as well.
RIP Quix. Amen.
Wonderfully informative obituary, that’s always so nice. The man sounds truly brilliant and talented. I wish I had known him.
Dang. Odd character, but very pleasant in FReepmail and on the phone. I was hoping to meet him IRL some day. Someday never came. *sigh*
RIP 🙏 in the arms of Sweet Jesus.
Prayers for Quix and family.
I hope his last 10 years were good ones.
I remember him from years ago. He posted multiple times a day, especially on the religion forum, and he knew his stuff. Unfortunately, he was no fan of my Catholic faith so we had a few interactions over that. Otherwise, he seemed like a good guy.
