Famous married actors Eric and Eliza Roberts came face-to-face with an intruder at their front door, Friday night.
Eliza was dropped off at her San Fernando Valley home by her daughter around 9 p.m., according to TMZ. By the time the actress had made her way to the front door, her husband Eric had stepped out and found himself facing an intruder. “I know you,” the intruder said, before Eric sternly told him to leave.
The incident unfolded shortly after Eliza exited the vehicle at the curb near her home and said goodbye to her daughter. She walked toward her security gate and proceeded to enter the code. As the gate opened, Eliza proceeded to walk up her driveway toward the front door. It was at this time that Eric found himself face to face with the stranger standing just a few feet from the front door, according to TMZ.
The man likely recognized Eric but didn’t provide an answer when asked why he was there. When Eric told him to leave, the unidentified man walked back down the driveway, according to TMZ. Eric and Eliza went inside and contacted local authorities, fearing the individual may still be on their property. By the time police arrived, the intruder was nowhere to be found.

The only thing Eric is “famous” for is spewing anti-gun rhetoric between stints making extremely violent movies with lots of Uzis.
I didn’t know he was anti-guns.

It’s nice to hear that the residents were not harmed, but I’m not sure this qualifies as ‘A Intruder’.
Apparently, the guy never actually got into their home.
Most people who own or rent a ground level home have had this experience in one way or another.
The intruder probably recognized Eric from movies, or his faint resemblance to his sister Julia.
Lucky for them, he didn’t know for sure who Eric was, or the intruder may have been far more aggressive, thinking this was a ‘rich’ movie actor with lots of valuables.

You will recognize Eric. He has been in hundreds of B movies and TV shows.
Yes. Eric has a great string of Sci-Fi channel B movies. Some are actually entertaining.
To be a little bit fairer to Eric, his role in Star-80 did a lot of damage to his career. If an actor plays a total creep all-too-well, they only want him for certain, very limited roles after that.
Sort of like actors, who play Jesus often hurt their careers in the process.
Yep. Although I like his acting.....Eric ain’t that famous by a stretch.

He’s an okay actor in his way. He just seems to have to spew his Anti-2A crap between direct-to-video gun fights.
Who was the other one? Oh yeah. Gun-toting Sigourney Weaver. “I’m against guns” (unless I can make a pile while wielding them.”
Smart actors keep their political opinions to themselves. I used to enjoy some of Eric’s movies because I am after all a fan of B-movie crap. I find them often more entertaining than a lot of “A class” crap. But since he saw fit to attack Trump I’ve avoided his shtick.
