I am very torn over this whole idea.
While I do believe we should have free travel for our “diplomats” and China can suck it, I also wonder if this trip has something to do with her families recent investments in computer chips.
In the end, it does not seem like the best idea to me because I see no upside for our nation other than perhaps it will reinforce the idea that we need to get the hell out of China and stop doing business with them.

Yep. I don't know if this was a good thing to do, or a bad thing to do at this point. I really don't. All I can say is this: She defied China's warnings and threats. Still don't like her one bit, can't wait for her to be out of office, but she did prove she has bigger balls than Biden and frankly, any other Democrat or Republican at this point.
Again, don't like her one bit. Do have to acknowledge she didn't bow to China's threats and pressure. And her going to Taiwan fully exposed the Biden Administration's allegiance with China as they walked away from Taiwan's independence from China yesterday.

That basically ended any chance. Every single person of importance in the CCP hierarchy has large sums of money (we’re talking tens if not hundreds of millions) stashed away in Switzerland. None of them want to risk losing it.
