Our folks changed the most, after their early 80s. I was just looking at some pics, recently, and noticed.

Dementia was (and still is) the biggest problem. But physically, she was the same until she had a kidney stone in 2018. Of all things! The stone wasn't even that big. She passed it on her own without any pain. But it started a chain reaction that's still happening now.

It's funny you mention pics (well, not funny, but you know what I mean). I found a photo of mom from 2015 or '16 recently, and it was jarring how much she's changed.

I went to Donald Trump Jr. For all the glitz and media attention, Ivana Trump was just another class mother of a student one year below me. She was willing to volunteer for things like helping out at field trips, even if she would meet us having taken a limo, instead of riding the schoolbus.
As I emailed Donnie, Ivana was always elegant and graceful. My mother looked up to her not just for style, but as an example of what another immigrant could do to help the school and city.

Ivana Trump was never first lady. She was Donald Trump’s first wife. The former first lady, Melania Knauss Trump, is Donald’s third wife.

The children that Trump had with Ivana (Don Jr, Ivanka and Eric) were all well-raised and have grown up to be net assets to society, all successful in their own right. Even the most ardent Trump-haters have to concede that.

Tiffany (Marla) and Barron (Melania) are still open books due to their youth but they have apparently done nothing bad or embarrassing, or we certainly would have heard about it.

Contrast them with the sleazy and despicable son of the current resident. If any of the Trump children did 1/10th the things that Hunter did (and got away with), we would never hear the end of it (and they wouldn't have gotten away with it).

Tiffany Trump went to UPenn and law school at Georgetown. I wouldn't worry about her. Barron is another matter. He went to Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, which known as a private school for student with average IQs and those with learning disabilities.
