The new monkeypox vaccine was approved in 2019. How lucky we are that the new vaccine was available only a few years before the outbreak!

I saw an interesting comment from a Zoomer recently that “Everyone knows by looking at high school yearbooks from the 80s that people used to look much older than their age.”
It occurred to me that from their perspective that was a correct observation, because boys often grew full beards from their early high school years. This, however, I presume to come from testosterone levels being a fraction of what they were 40 or 50 years ago.
The Zoomer simply doesn’t have the awareness that that’s the factor at stake.

There’s something very suspicious about this monkeypox virus. I wouldn’t be surprised if its recently increased infectiousness is due to intentional gain of function manipulation in the lab, similar as to what happened with the coronavirus. I’m sure its just a coincidence that a vaccine for this recently became available and the government is about to spend a huge amount buying this new vaccine. /s
