Department of Health Chief Medical Officer Dr. Iris Cardona indicated that some additional monkeypox cases in Puerto Rico were due to dating apps.
“The United States already has over 700 cases, but analysis of the first 300 identified the majority being men. Most of them had the number-one epidemiological criterion, that being participating in activities involving intimate contact, very close or sexual contact, any of the two, particularly men having sex with men, and also invitations on the different platforms within social media to meet people and engage in very close relations or close contact with these people who were, until then, unknown,” Dr. Cardona stated.
“It’s not limited to dates because, for example, there are apps in Europe with invitations to mass activities with a large number of people [engaging] in intimate or sexual contact,” she added.
Cardona reported that the patients are already in isolation and that the pertinent tests will be performed in the coming hours.
If confirmed as monkeypox cases, the total [in Puerto Rico] will increase to four.

Right now it is. Considering Monkeypox is known to be transmissible among animals and has animal reservoirs in Africa, we need to get rid of the disease in all other parts of the world to prevent animals in the rest of the world from getting it. The worst possible outcome of the pathetic response to the Monkeypox outbreak would be for new animal reservoirs to be established outside of Africa.

Also, dating apps have a very significant percentage of toxic men and women. I have stories, and I also have a friend of my Air Force days who’s also shared some of her own stories with me.
