Back to reality; can't wait to see this stay-at-home circus start traveling from state to state in order to lobby for full-blown abortion paid for by the taxpayers. It might wear out after a while.
Seem to Remember there was a guy, long time ago, that tried with all his might to warn us that Hollywood was fast on its way to being a hive of scum and villainy bent and intent on imposing communism on these United States. He was absolutely EXCORIATED for his attempt to uncover them
Because their numbers weren’t high enough at the time and these Hollywood communists were not about to let some politician on a bent expose them for what they really were. Fast forward to today and they believe their numbers are sufficient to show themselves for what they really are
And no longer hide. Thank D.TRUMP for causing them to drop the masks. We were warned but too entertained to notice and as a country we refused to actually do anything about it then. Will we as a country do anything to stop them now or are we still too entertained to actually do anything about it now? Only YOU can answer that question.
Disney, Starbucks, Ben and Jerry’s to name a few. Unreal how many conservative friends I have that drool over all three of those establishments.
I realize that this is off topic to the original post, but I am disputing the veracity of your original post, here.
I believe that we do ourselves a disservice to fail to understand the opposition. I expect that many women may support abortion though they find the act morally repugnant to themselves. They may only support it in the privacy of the voting booth. Though essentially murder, they may feel that they would never resort to it unless needed, and wish to reserve that option as a right.
It is, in fact, very similar to the Second Amendment. Though most would be rightfully repulsed by the idea of killing someone, they wish to reserve the ability to do so should the need arise.
The question, to me, is how much of this there is. I think the violent abortionists are freaks, likely blinded by their own past actions. That may leave a majority of women supporting abortion for the reason I describe.
Feel you pain brother. I have looked long and hard and not found a replacement for Amazon. Best we can do is buy local and see if they will deliver or do curbside pickup.
Good point. Over the years I have had four women admit to me(while I was trying to get them to go to the range for the first time) that they would never own a gun and that they would never even touch one but take great comfort in my ability to “defend” them.
RCINC is not without blame. They endorsed the “whole cloth concept - social justice while making sure they reserved enough cash to pay 600$/hr lawyers to smear children their employees abused. The primary tenet of the sanctity of life was diluted to afterthoughts
They in a sense abandoned the pro life cause by making an executive decision to look the other way on the behavior and pro abortion promotion of Ted Kennedy, BIden, Pelosi ad nauseum. This was simply a temporal/financial decision to keep those collection plated in Washington DC Boston and NY filled.
Case in point - a few years ago our church and other congregations did a massive cross display on private land. We approached the local RC parish; the pastor could not be bothered. A few miscreants members of their parish trashed the display
What’s ironic is that preventing an unwanted pregnancy is the cheapest and easiest thing to do.
I use ebay in place of Amazon.
Media and education. You pay them the most to empty your brain.
And least dangerous.
Abortion is not without its risks as any surgical procedure.
from anecdotal evidence a great many of the abortion supporters are such because of family members had abortions and are afraid to disagree with them. They fear the creation more than the Creator.
Actors signaling to the degenerate head hogs in Hollywood that they are willing to play ball.
I use amazon’s website for product reviews and then search the web for the product from a different source, often time the maker of the product. I buy stuff on ebay sometimes but only buy from people in red states. I will not buy from a seller in Cali or NY. I pretty much stick with sellers in red flyover states when I can.
I don’t buy any entertainment/streaming.
Recent exception is that I bought the kindle version of Dr Peter Breggin’s book and RFK Jr’s book, both about covid, Fauxi etc. $2.99 ea.
I shop at the local grocery stores mostly and shop the sales. I do buy a few things at walmart but I don’t do Great Value brand. The only things I buy there are bulk items like big bottles of Frank’s hot sauce, rice, flour, sugar, soda and Glory’s Southern Seasoned canned veggies because it’s the only place I can find those.
I also try and stay away from name brands. No Tyson, no Smithfield and I get the off brands or local store brands of dry and canned goods.
I buy all my auto parts on rockauto.com and mostly choose the old brand names like Raybestos brakes, Gates belts, Standard brand ignition, Moog/TRW steering and suspension, Timken bearings, National Seals. All those names have existed since I was a kid in the 70s. Much of it is now made in China but at least I know they have decades of experience behind them and they’re still paying the salaries of someone in the US. I hope they demand better specs and quality from the Chinese compared to no-name china stuff. Most everything is as cheap as the chain parts store’s brand even after shipping.
If I need parts quick, I use C&C auto parts which is a Carquest store but more locally controlled than the bigger chains plus there’s a C&C auto repair run by the same family. The biggest thing on their sign says C&C Auto Parts as opposed to Autozone’s sign simply saying Autozone.
There’s also a couple of Federated Auto Parts stores near me which are even more local controlled. One store still allows smoking inside and has stools at the counter for customers. No 12 aisles of chinajunk trinkets. No standardized paint schemes with logos on every wall. Like going back in time.
One of our local/regional grocery chains, Town & Country, also has a Town & Country bank. The store in that town also makes it a point to hire disabled people to stock shelves.
A few years ago, Menard’s started opening around here. Went a couple of times but soon realized it’s just the walmart of home improvement stores. I go to the little lumber/hardware store mostly and Lowes for certain things that are outrageously priced at the local place.
I haven’t gone to WokeVS in a long time. I’ve gotta figure out ways to lessen my footprint at Woke-Mart, since they cancelled MyPillow.
“It’s a lot cheaper for a business to pay for a plane ticket and an abortion”
The left used to claim that big businesses were bloodthirsty and anti-human.
Now that they run these corporations they are making it happen.
Let us agree with her for the sake of argument and not determine our rights by interpreting the intentions of our founders. Well then there is nothing for it but to tell the Supreme Court those founders established to go stuff it and keep completely out of the issue of abortion. So she must agree with overturning Roe vs Wade.
So many corporations seem to support this left-leaning, globalist agenda.
In past centuries, governments were responsible for millions of deaths, including over 100 million in the 20th Century.
It is my belief that in this century, large corporations will be responsible for tens of millions of deaths.
I use Amazon too. One good thing about them is they will donate one-half of one percent of your purchases to a charity of your choice on their list of approved charities. Believe it or not, a pro-life organization, Kansans for Life, is on their list, as are many other fine charities. Does eBay or Wal-Mart have a similar program?
