For two decades scientists have been quietly developing self-spreading contagious vaccines. The NIH funded this research, in which either DNA from a deadly pathogen is packaged in a contagious but less harmful virus, or the deadly virus’s lethality is weakened by engineering it in a lab.
The resultant “vaccines” spread from one person to the next just like a contagious respiratory virus. Only five percent of regional populations would need to be immunized; the other ninety-five percent would “catch” the vaccine as it spread person-to-person through community transmission.
This technology bypasses the inconvenience of recalcitrant citizens who may refuse to give consent. Its advocates highlight that a mass vaccination campaign that would ordinarily take months of expensive effort to immunize everyone could be shortened to only a few weeks.
Scientists have already shown proof of concept in animal populations: in 2000, Spanish researchers injected seventy rabbits with a transmissible vaccine and returned them to the wild, where they quickly passed the vaccine on to hundreds more, reportedly stopping a viral outbreak. European countries are now testing the technology on pigs.

I'm not sure that is an accurate characterization of "gain-of-function". Which is what Fauci funded.

Well i call it something else, Survival! I refuse to listen to anything that this new realm of Physicians have to say. They continue to push a Jab that is twice as deadly as the covid planedemic. These people are sick!
Don’t confuse this with that. Fauci funded both types of research.
So, long story short, we are attempting to spread immunity by infecting almost everyone.
However, we are trusting that the virus will remain in a non virulent form as it propagates repeatedly across populations.
All that work, purely out of beneficence, too. No profit motive. No demand. Just amazing humanitarian proactive science.

It sounds like something that would be done to rabbits, chickens and sheep. Farm animals that you shear or harvest for your own profit.

95% fatality rate when initially deployed against rabbits in Australia. The rabbits have since recovered their population. But Australians are still pretty twitchy about "what if...".
Some humans would survive a "mistake" from a self-spreading "vaccination". What we call "civilization" most certainly would not. I have read enough of those stories to never want to live in one.
The people advocating such projects must be immediately fired.

It’s a different subject. Using DNA manipulation to give something a “gain of function” is a process-method, not in and of itself an objective. What they are speking of could use “gain of function” methods, but as I said, that’s merely a tool, a means to an end, not the ends.
Some day the penalty for this will be the death sentence. After it goes horribly wrong.
