Jacques Vallee noted something that was almost certainly connected to the drugs / hypnosis / mind-control issue... asked Lazar “if he felt that his memory might have been tampered with.”
Lazar has admitted that on a couple of occasions, all he could remember was being flown out to S-4…and flying back. And that’s all. two days’ worth of memories.
In light of that, we have to seriously wonder if Lazar genuinely recalled his experiences as he remembered them, but that what he remembered wasn’t real. It may well have been part of an ingenious plan to have Lazar become the ultimate patsy in a plot to convince someone that the U.S. Government has UFOs and alien technology in its secret facilities. In that sense, the entirety of Lazar’s story needs to be addressed very carefully... because his memories cannot be fully understood.

Lazar then got to the heart of the matter: the two men were looking down at a small, humanoid figure with long arms, seemingly talking to it. Although Lazar only saw the entity for a second or so, he was in no doubt about what it appeared to be.
Lazar himself wondered if this was some kind of set-up. “Maybe they stuck a doll in front of these guys and made me walk by it and look at it, just to see what my reaction would be.” “They play so many mind games there.”
While enthusiastic UFO researchers may dearly want to believe that living aliens are at Area 51, Lazar’s carefully worded statement suggests we should exercise restraint on this issue – at least until, or if, further vindication comes along.

It’s entirely possible that there are aircraft beyond what we know. I think that’s a given.
However, we are also in the last days and in a time of increased demonic activity. They likely have knowledge of more advanced technology than we can know.

The UFO’s are still another diversion, on a level with the Johnny Depp/Amanda Heard defamation suit, just another shiny thing or squirrel to make people look away from the very real threats at hand.
The real numbers, if known, would show we have plunged not into just a recession, but a soon to be full-blown depression, confined not only to the United States, but most of the world. Everyone is going to get sucked into this maelstrom, there cannot be any neutrals. And certainly no refuge.
As a Christian, I believe the bible leaves room for quadrillions of inhabited planets, but the laws of physics keeps us away from each other in this reality. The spiritual realm is something else, though.
Regarding the physical creation, the bible is earth centric, and man is God’s manager of that planet. i.e. we are in His image, and here as His “gardeners” and to have a personal relationship with him.
Who is to say that is not playing out, or has played out, or will play out on countless other worlds. And who is to say they are not something other than human? I mean, God is not Human, though the part of the trinity for our planet that is physical is human, the same form as his “gardeners”.
I’m not saying I believe any of the above. I’m saying the bible leaves room for it. And as we learn of the vastness of the universe, it becomes worth considering. The writers of the old testament had no concept of a solar system, planet, sun or moon. The “heavens and the earth” are this giant spaceship we occupy along with its exterior life preserving atmosphere. They are not the entirety of creation, IMO, though Genesis 1:1 could be talking about the entirety. Or not.
I agree with you that the story is just a distraction. No question on that, but I think that UFO’s, meaning to be advanced ships beyond what the average person can know, is also a reality.
It will be used against us in the days and months and years to come.

The laws of physics allow for Von Neumann machines taveling at subluminal velocities, either carrying homegrown DNA samples, or with the ability to assemble and or adapt whatever DNA is necessary for the local environments encountered, to colonize half the galaxy within a few million years.
