Landline? Good grief. Get a mobile phone. You will still receive some robo calls but they are easy to block.
I have a landline. It costs me 39 dollars a month. I have seen cell phones cost quite a bit more.
My landline company (Cox) has a thing called Nomorobo which blocks some but it is very annoying. I see someone on here said ‘just see if you recognize the number and if you don’t don’t answer the call’.
The problem with this is you have to constantly go to the phone and look to see who is calling. 99 percent of the time it is a robo caller. It’s maddening. Remember the ‘do not call’ list thing, that I am on. Does nothing. When are they going to address this?!
But apparently you cannot have the same number assigned to 3 smart phones, so that a call will ring all three and all can immediately talk on it st the same time, which is what we want in a ministry. At least that is what Verizon told me. Meanwhile even if that can be done then 3 smart phones would cost more than what Comcast voice charges, though as a monopoly here, the $134.00 for 100 Mbps Internet and Voice is excessive. Plus I myself am not looking for more needless calls.
