Both have benefits.

M142 rocket pod is mounted on a truck so Ukrainians won’t have to deal with learning to drive or supply a tracked armored vehicle. Plenty of people who can drive or service a truck.

M270 might be better domestically as most of these are going to be retired anyway so sending these is just an “accounting loss”.

Joe Biden has said the US will not supply Ukraine with rockets that can reach into Russia, in an attempt to ease tensions with Moscow over the potential deployment of long-range missiles with a range of about 185 miles.

Why? Because the Biden regime knows that the Ukrainian nationalists and neo-Nazis would break their promise and use them to strike inside Russian territory and that would lead draw us into a hot war with Russia.
