Well for one thing, those other nations have only a few, and depleting their stocks would mean that they would not be able to fulfill their obligations to NATO or their own self defense would be severely weakened.
We have a lot of the weapons we are sending, and many of them are older or “dumbed down” versions. The versions that other nations have are export models built under license usually, and are not identical to current US versions.
We don’t have to send them, we could just allow Russia to overrun Ukraine, and all of Europe; let the CCP take Taiwan, the Philippines, all of the Pacific, Hawaii, and the West Coast.
Point is where do you draw the line? When some one slaps a person around in front of you, do you just watch? Why do you have to step in and stop the beating/rape? Its nothing to you. You have no ‘dog’ in the fight. Think about it.
