@barnes_law
The Oz endorsement woke up some Trump supporters to what some of us have been warning about for awhile. Trump is totally, utterly out of touch on these kind of issues, surrounded by inept, corrupt advisors. Personnel was his weakness in office, and the problem is getting worse.

His endorsements have always been a mixed bag been saying it for a long time...
Trump has always surrounded himself with back-stabbers. I don’t know why he hasn’t learned.
Big
Deal
Not
Barnes is right. This endorsement has started a divide in Trump’s base. It’s evident looking all over the political message boards on the web.
I have no problem with Oz.
Funny how no one ever blames Trump himself. Its always “his advisors”. The man has been in business for 50 years. Where does the buck ultimately stop?
Trump’s advisors may have told him that an endorsement would gain him the loyalty of a Senator Oz. They may be right but I have my doubts.
His endorsements have always been a mixed bag been saying it for a long time...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
McCain in 2016 despite the fact that Trump did not respect McCain
Romney in 2018, despite the fact that Romney did not respect Trump
A slew of Bush League Republicans in 2020 who spent the previous 4 years hobbling his administration.
This cycle he is endorsing Amnesty Senator Rubio, which is antithetical to MAGA.
I understand that that inept, corrupt advisor just might be Melania?
Elected and trying to be elected folks can do what they each thing best for their electoral prospects, but grass roots GOPers and Conservatives should not follow Trump like sheep when it comes to endorsements, but choose who they support carefully, NOT on someone’s support by or for Trump, but based on respect or disagreement with the individual politician ON THE ISSUES.
His endorsements pale in comparison with his horrendous choices for advisors and Cabinet members.
He has great ideas, absolutely $hitty results.
He will need DeSantis as VP.
Still blaming “his advisors”?? Why not him directly?
Melania? Perhaps, but more likely his daughter and Jared...
It stops with Trump. The man has never been an insider politician and didn't know how deep the Deep State goes.
Personally, I don't want Trump to run in 2024. His baggage is profound and the MSM will bring it up to the point of nausea. I believe DeSantis is a better candidate, providing there are no underlying scandals.
Yes I voted Trump twice and don’t regret it.
But…
I can’t remember who it was …he nominated or appointed. I thought WTH is wrong with you, I didn’t expect that at all, maybe it was a SCJ.
Nope, I remember now. It’s Mr raging white faced WOKE…military trans supporter General Miley. YES it was Trump that nominated him. Still SMH on that one.
“I am pleased to announce my nomination of four-star Gen. Mark Milley, Chief of Staff of the United States Army — as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, replacing General Joe Dunford, who will be retiring,” Trump wrote. “I am thankful to both of these incredible men for their service to our Country! Date of transition to be determined.””
“The Oz endorsement woke up some Trump supporters to what some of us have been warning about for awhile. Trump is totally, utterly out of touch on these kind of issues, surrounded by inept, corrupt advisors. Personnel was his weakness in office, and the problem is getting worse.”
Utter crap.
People saying this were and are never Trumpers, Rino GOPe or drug addled lunatic faction.
They always have said this because they are not and never have been supportive of Trump, or Tea Party or Maga etc...
Their addled logic sees problems with a Trump decisions but ignores the massive problems of the Rinos and GOPe and establishment politicians.
No reasoning or context in these attacks.
So who is Robert Barnes?
AGREED! Who was appointed during the Trump administration, (with the possible execption of Pompeo) who turned out ‘as advertised’? Trump has great ideas, but I think he’s been too long in the sewer of New York politics.
Policy-wise, Trump is top notch. Problem was that he hired and trusted and surrounded himself with a bunch of back-stabbing swampsters, and he kept them on long after it became painfully evident they were enemies of this country, which is why the swamp is just as fetid as ever. Plus 2 of his 3 SCOTUS picks are looking shaky, at best. That could be a potential disaster.
The fact that he sometimes makes questionable endorsements (like this Oz fool) pales in significance to the above.
i do agree the people he depends on for advice suck out loud.
I don’t get it!!!
