Looks like Welsh...almost.
Maybe there's a bug in the system. Could it be an issue with the Fox News video itself, and not YouTube? I just checked some of the YouTube video subscriptions I have, and the CC is fine on those.

It is because the automatic speech to text program YouTube uses can be pretty bad.
Unless a transcript is uploaded with the video, the auto subtitles are often useless.

I looked. at the player settings and found that there’s now a choice called American English. When I selected that, the correct captions were displayed.
