I saw an article in the daily mail several days ago, claiming that Putin was jailing war protestors. I got a comment in about the hypocrisy and so did one Australian about the protests there in Australia and beatings from police.

I’m sorry you can’t have compassion for them. Depression is a real physical/biochemical problem that once it hits is very hard, especially without medical help, to just “get over”. Being locked away, lied about, possibly beaten, losing friends, and being thought of poorly by a community that once was welcoming but the ostracized him (along with many in the country/world), not getting a speedy trial and facing more charges f t on sadistic prosecutors would be daunting for anyone and the impending new charges would be the nail in the coffin for a depressed person. My heart bleeds for him and others who are dealing with the PTB.
