I worked for the Israeli owned contractor who had the unclassified section of the army’s SINCGARS radio. GD had the classified section. Both companies had taken the bulk of their workforce off the welfare rolls in exchange for free rent. (Horrible deal in my opinion as the workers did not want to work. Most were black.) Both companies stopped enforcing their random drug tests because, as I understand it, none of the black employees passed the test whereas, at that time, all of the white employees had passed. Their lawyers told them that, therefore, the test was racist by definition as it only failed blacks.
