Being this is from the AP I wouldn’t doubt if this is a smear piece/fake news being pushed by Walmart who hates Dollar Generals being they are really effecting Walmart profit margins.

I have seen what look like metal rat traps on top of the coolers in grocery stores. They seem to be connected to the cooler but have a round metal hole in them and other wise look like a shoe box. I have also found real rat traps under the shelves in Wal-Mart.
