Animal rights advocate and author Carol Adams has been savaged for throwing "every woke buzzword" into a fiery speech at the Oxford Union 'Beyond Meat' Debate on Wednesday.
Ms Adams claimed eating meat is linked to a "white supremacist patriarchal worldview" and that white supremacists "weaponised" eating meat, eggs and dairy to reclaim their wounded masculinity.
But social media users were quick to hit back at the viral speech, arguing the use of "woke logic threads" has "no overarching connection" to meat.
'The Sexual Politics of Meat' author argues the act of eating animal "corpses" are "massaged by euphemistic language" like hamburgers, steak and bacon.
"In order to be eaten, animals must disappear as living beings, that is be killed," he said.
"They then disappear conceptually as so many forms in which we eat animal corpses are massaged by euphemistic language (like) hamburgers, steak, pork, bacon...
"Even the speaker just before me talked about 'turkeys', he's talking about dead butchered turkeys of whom part of their bodies will be eaten," she said.
"Meat eaters order leg of lamb, not a baby lamb's leg (and) your hamburger comes with a dose of misogyny."

“baby lamb” is redundant. A lamb is by definition, a non-adult sheep. Sheep flesh is either lamb or mutton.

I like the term I heard recently. I’m a second order vegetarian. I eat thing that eat plants.
I suspect that Homo Sapiens have been eating meat sense long before the wokeness revolution.

I feel sorry for all the people of color through out the world that eat meat and are now considered white supremacists.
