A DoorDash driver shot a McDonald's employee after an argument at the store's drive-thru Monday evening, the Baton Rouge Police Department said.
Officers responded around 8:15 p.m. Monday to a shooting at the McDonald's on Greenwell Springs Road, BRPD spokesman Sgt. Don Coppola said. They found one of the store's employees suffering from a leg injury, possibly from shrapnel in the shooting, Coppola said.
Coppola said the spat started with a disagreement at the restaurant's drive-thru window, which involved a DoorDash driver who was angry with the contents of an order they were trying to fill.
The driver pulled around the store and fired a weapon, injuring the second McDonald's worker — who was a different employee than the one the driver was arguing with, Coppola said.

In an emailed statement, a DoorDash spokesperson said the company is "incredibly relieved that the employee is safely recovering."

I watched a CCTV security cameral recording of a shooting at a Detroit bar. Apparently, a couple of guys in the bar were from a rival gang. Someone started shooting in the air. Members of the other gang hunkered down behind some overturned tables, which would not have stopped a .22, aimed their guns into the air and fired their entire magazines into the ceiling. A bit of hilarity, other than the shooters themselves, involved a woman who had left her enormous purse on the bar when she dove to the floor. In the middle of all the shooting, she got up, recovered the purse and then ran out passed the two guys perforating the ceiling. NO ONE WAS HURT. Seriously, probably sixty plus rounds fired at nearly arm-length and the damage was almost entirely in the ceiling. Psychologists call this “display behavior.” That’s what a cat does when he hisses, puffs up and turns sideways to look bigger. Anyone who is just firing without aiming is displaying.
Please tell me Jaquan and Tyron had nothing to do with it.
