Cortez had 200,000 native allies against the Aztecs, at least by some accounts.
Scripture records a few instances when (by comparison to the Son) teeny tiny angels were let loose on even teenier tinier men … this is the Son, the Lord … it won’t even be a fight just as it says.
Life is in the blood, one word from Him and their blood isn’t in their bodies.
That’s part of what happened when the Brits were wiped out at Isandlwana. They couldn’t unpack ammo fast enough.
In fairness, he made good allies of the peoples the Aztecs were using as human sacrifices.
A dozen rounds from the 40mm cannon and they would think they were fighting gods.

Can the soldiers call in an airstrike? A few A-10s would make mincemeat of the Spartan army.
so 20,000 blood thirsty hardened warriors against 100 trannies in red dresses with guns they are afraid of using? What are they gonna do to the spartans? PMS them to death?
Just send in a AC-130 Spectre and be done with it.

Since that model was retired a decade ago and is not rotting in rhe boneyard, why not be modern ad get either the AC-130J Ghostrider or the AC-130W Stinger II - the J model comes with a battlefield laser along with Precision Strike Package with 30mm and 105mm cannons and Standoff Precision Guided Munitions (i.e. GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb, GBU-69 Small Glide Munition, AGM-114 Hellfire missile and AGM-176 Griffin missile).
The vast majority of the injun tribes in the Americas were strong warriors. The scenario of a few gunmen going up against large numbers of stone age tribesmen played itself out multiple times in the Americas.
It is kinda the reason why today I type away in English rather than Ohlone.

If we can have 20,000 Spartans two thousand years past their freshness date I think we could somehow get a few old planes.
The Battle of Omdurman was probably the last battle between an army equipped with the latest technology and an ill-equipped force with no modern weaponry. Spears and a few breech loaders were no match against artillery and Maxim machine guns.
the Zulu iklwa was not for throwing. It was for close in thrusting. Shaka replaced the light throwing spear with the short iklwa as part of his reforms to the Zulu Impi.
Sparta probably never fielded even half that number.
Mastiffs and war horses were pretty intimidating.

Or if we took 9 guys running 3 tels of M142 HIMARS, 4 guys flying AC-10s, 15 guys running M1A3s, and 10 guys running an AC-130J, and 1 guy with a tactical nuke (just in case) - then the remaining 61 ground troops would be overkill.
Alternately using just one boomer with full Trident load or and SSGNs with 154 tomahawks - no troops need to get bloodied ; observers should stand well away from field of conflict.
Had the Spartans decided to throw their spears all at once, the outcome would have been different.
You know, a much more historically interesting encounter would involve ancient Greeks, 13th century Scotts and a warehouse full of booze between them.
