To: Hot Tabasco

Florida is going to have freezing temps this weekend. Supposedly we will be seeing iguanas falling from the trees. Should be easy to round them up!!!

From what I heard, the last time that happened, folks felt sorry for them and let them thaw out.

Hopefully they learned a lesson and kill the damn things when found on the ground........

Ive seen them fall from roofs in cold weather.

Last time it was this cold was in 2010 - and I recall going out to walk the dogs on a nearby golf course and near each large tree were the cored-out skins of multiple iguanas. They go into a coma like state when their temperature drops too far and they fall out of the trees and are eaten by predators. After that cold winter in 2010 it took several years for the iguana population to rebound.

Some people say it tastes like chicken. It's why they're called "chicken of the trees".
