Australia’s federal court on Sunday ordered to Novak Djokovic deported for failing to obtain a COVID-19 vaccine despite having natural immunity, a decision that deprives the world’s No. 1 tennis star of the chance to defend his Australian Open title.
After eight hours of deliberations, Chief Justice James Allsop said the decision came down to whether Immigration Minister Ethan Hawke’s decision was “irrational or legally unreasonable.”
“It is no part of the function of the court to decide upon the merits or wisdom of the [government’s] decision,” Allsop explained.
Djokovic, a 34-year-old Serb, said he respected the court’s authority but was “extremely disappointed with the court ruling … which means I cannot stay in Australia and participate in the Australian Open.”
“I will now be taking some time to rest and to recuperate, before making any further comments beyond this,” he said
Hawke welcomed the decision without saying when the tennis star would be deported.
“Australia’s strong border protection policies have kept us safe during the pandemic, resulting in one of the lowest death rates, strongest economic recoveries, and highest vaccination rates in the world,” Hawke said.

I am not saying I agree with the Aussie’s rules on this stuff—but as a general principle, you are better off leaving stuff blank than to answer with in accurate information. Yeah, it will probably get kicked back...but you can ask for clarification.
And who is filling this stuff out for him? They just cost him a few million dollars.
What about the other challengers ?? I heard two or three of them cannot compete DUE TO THEIR VACCINES and injury.
MSM silent on this aspect as well.
Whatever intl tennis assoc runs this should cancel it and move it elsewhere.
Not much of a Joker fan here but will not watch 30 seconds of the Open this year and maybe going forward.
Australia and New Zealand such huge disappointments, was unlikely to ever return but can’t see even considering it now.

They were never going to let him in. This is theater so their repressive regime can get their tennis open in the news. The undisputed best player in the world won’t be there and they get to pretend his absence is his fault.

That is indeed a strong indication of their ultimate motive. But perhaps nothing can be stronger proof this is all about getting people injected, than hospitals allowing vaccinated but INFECTED healthcare workers to return to facilities and interact with patients, while firing UNINFECTED healthcare works for simply not being vaccinated. Demanding shots without regard to infection or possible spread is the only reason that can possibly be explained.
Even AUS recognizes natural immunity to some degree. The new vax mandate for all says if you had covid, no vax required for 6 months.
Israel says prior covid counts as one of two Pfizer shots.

UE/UK both recognize it in some way.
The US mandates act like there is no such thing as natural immunity.
