But I started binging about a week ago.

Hope you enjoy it. I thought this was one of the greatest TV series ever.

HBO really raised the bar and set the new standard of the type of cinema-quality production values that we should expect to enjoy at home on our massive 4K home theater systems. That's what this series was made for.

Yes, the nudity can be gratuitous at times (this is HBO) but overall, the series was outstanding. Sure, a lot of people were disappointed with the finale, only because it just couldn't measure up to the body of the program as a whole and George R.R. Martin wasn't giving the show runners any new material to work with. I thought it was fine though and doesn't diminish the quality of the program.

After I watched it, I read the books. They're great as well. I hope Martin can finish them before he drops dead because there's just so much more detail and storytelling in the books. But now that I've read them, I'd like to watch the series again. It followed the books pretty well, almost season for season.

Lol.. Damn Drew.. give me a chance here.. ( this is why I didn't want to make a major issue here (totally separate than this) on FR. Not enough time in a day (and we have both had our differences, which surprised me when I read you are a vet, wasn't expecting that ;^) ).

"the series was outstanding"
I agree.. within the last decade, or so, probably the best, alongside Yellowstone..

"Sure, a lot of people were disappointed with the finale"

I am only halfway there.. not going to read more on that.. but, it being so unpredictable up to season 4 (I am halfway through 4), it is beyond my expectations... so unpredictable.. nothing I have seen since the 70s.
I am so tired of knowing the ending before the story starts... :P

I am going to try to find the books... (I usually read the book before I watch the movie, which usually destroys the story :P).
