“U.S. grocery stores look like Soviet Union.” I used that very line this morning. I also added Cuba and Venezuela.
I was in a local Walmart yesterday doing some grocery shopping, and I was shocked at how many bare/empty spaces there were on shelves. Not just a little here and there, rather 10-15 foot spaces, and two or three on both sides of each aisle. The meat section had maybe a tenth of what it normally has. This is Biden’s America.
Empty shelves
Raging inflation
Loss of energy independence
Chaos at the southern border
Anemic job growth
Afghanistan debacle with dead military members
Unconstitutional vaccine mandates
More Covid deaths on his watch than on Trump’s
Biden OWNS all of it.

Saw this earlier plus a couple of threads here. Went to the local grocery store today. The only empty shelves were the shelves that would have held the Red Baron pizzas that I wanted to get since they were on sale for one more day. That’s normal though.
We have a big trucking and distribution presence 80 miles away in Springfield MO and Missouri didn’t lockdown, close shop, quit working or going to school for the most part with the exception of leftist St Louis.
Might explain the lack of bare shelves. Maybe it should be #BlueStateBareShelves.
Saw the bare shelves yesterday at my local Meijer. The whole milk shelves were completely bare.
We need to start putting Biden “I Did That” stickers on those empty shelves.
I’ve been stocking up on toilet paper since the summer of 2020. I must have a year’s supply. They’ll never have me scrambling for a basic necessity like TP again. I also routinely stock up on a lot of my favorite products ahead of time. Drives hubby crazy but makes me less anxious.
In the meantime, .... Xiden’s priorities are changing the election laws, ending the filibuster, passing a 2 trillion dollar give away, Jan 6th, compelling vaxxes, school parents as terrorists, and climate change.
People who are out shopping for groceries among empty shelves and high prices, and how glad they are that Xiden is tackling all those other issues to make their lives better. I hear it all the time in stores! /s

The sweet shelves have been empty in my WM store for MONTHS. All other shelves are fine.
The store is packed with people unlike two yrs ago.
Well, at least if the liquor stores are stocked (and they are), I can blunder through this mess.
I went to get corn starch…they were out…tried another place…they were out…out of corn starch in America?…wow!

I talked to a junior domo guy at Meijer (midwest grocery chain) he seemed to think most of the problem was in transport. Not sure if he’s right, but that was his view.
Hubby went to get salt at WM. Gone.
Our Walmart has salt out the wazoo. No Best Food's/Hellmann's Mayo, though. For two weeks now.
