The lead prosecutor in the Ahmaud Arbery trial is already preparing to defend the three guilty verdicts on appeal.
“It’s never over. You know that,” Cobb County Senior Assistant District Attorney Linda Dunikoski told the Daily Report Thursday during a phone interview that also included her boss, Cobb County District Attorney Flynn Broady Jr.
“Once sentencing takes place—and we don’t actually have a firm date for sentencing—they’ll have 30 days to file their motions for new trial, which I’m assuming all of them will do,” Dunikoski said.
Defense attorneys said they planned to appeal after the jury returned guilty verdicts on Nov. 24 for Travis McMichael, Gregory McMichael and William “Roddie” Bryan.

I bet Old Deborah was too lenient on the wrong people too. And probably ugly too.
Arbery Was Literally “Off His Meds” When He Charged Travis McMichael"People close to Arbery had been noting his deteriorating mental health condition in the weeks leading up to his death on February 23, 2020, including his probation officer, who in 2018 had ordered a mental health evaluation of Arbery as a result of such concerns.
Arbery, as a result of this mental health evaluation, was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, which is often characterized by uncontrolled violence, aggression, and poor impulse control.
In June 2018 Arbery’s own mother had called 911 to report that Arbery was withholding her car keys from her. She cautioned the 911 dispatcher that Arbery’s mental condition had worsened over time. She also cautioned the responding police officers that Arbery might get violent due to his mental illness if they tried to arrest him.
Arbery was subsequently prescribed psychiatric medication, specifically Zyprexa (olanzapine), in an effort to control his schizoaffective disorder.
Blood tests performed after Arbery’s death indicated absolutely no detectable Zyprexa in his system, meaning he was literally 'off his meds'..."

The Bible would have mentioned if she defied God on that score. According to Judges 4 and 5, she was instrumental in bringing about four decades of peace and freedom for Israel.
“The point of this post was to discuss the appeal.”
Yes. Appeals are a given. It will be interesting to see what the defendants argue in their respective appeals. They have an uphill battle. I think the only thing they have a shot at is the denial of the chance for parole (well, in the case of the two McMichaels). Unless I’m missing something, I don’t think any of them have any kind of reasonable chancel to overturn their respective convictions.
If most of the women you know are “bar hoochies” it says more about where you hang out than it says about women.
No, it doesn’t. I don’t know them from the bar.
Nice try broad.
Being off your meds or high is not a reason for you to hunt them down in your party of 3 and shoot him dead because he would not comply with your illegal orders.
Sorry, I find all of what you posted irrelevant to the case.

The Bible probably wouldn’t have discussed her handling of less newsworthy cases. Never trust a female cop or Judge.

I have video of shady types starting to walk up our driveway but then stopping and turning back when they see that they are on video camera. Our immediate neighbors on either side do not have cameras and have been burglarized -- but not us.
you truly are deplorable,to a "T"
God trusted her. What greater seal of approval is there?
We can not live among them. End of story
Cameras only work until the criminals learn to wear a mask and a hat
I would want them to get the same punishment regardless of the race of the hunted down victim they murdered.
That attire though defeats the pretense that you are going innocently about your business.
Sorry, I find what you posted in this thread full of hilarious fear that the appeal system might. actually. work. here., and free these men; and sorry that you would post such malignant ignorance to a constitutional conservative website whose mission statement is founded in the support of constitutionally-mandated due process.
But masks are “mandated” or recommended now, so wearing one isn’t a suspicious as it was a couple years ago. Many people wear hats as well, not just criminals
