Researchers may be in the early stages of discovering an effective strategy for inhibiting the virus that causes COVID-19, according to the results of a recent study.

The results of the findings from David A. Ostrov, Ph.D., of the University of Florida, were published in Pathogens in late November.

The report suggested that combining diphenhydramine — an antihistamine sold as Benadryl that is used for allergy symptoms — and lactoferrin — a protein found in cow and human milk — reduced replication of SARS-CoV-2 by 99% in lab tests on human lung and monkey cells.

Keep in mind, taking Benadryl enough times, it will elevate the risk of Alzheimer's.

Can you even buy the stuff over the counter, now? I thought that was one that they keep locked up because ‘the kids’ use it to make meth?

Also, a warm glass of milk and a good cry cures just about anything. ;)

In a related story, the Pentagon has revealed that the Biden administration has ordered the shut down of all dairy farms in the US...and all livestock are to be slaughtered and burned.

I believe a few antihistamines have been to shown to be of some benefit not just Benadryl. (Including combined with something like Zyrtec combined with Pepcid.) They should be on hand for flu and common cold too.

Maybe they're putting Benedryl in Bidet's pudding... it's working for Fearless Leader. And Capt Pike (though he was a hero).

They (government and pharmaceutical firms) don’t want to fight it. They don’t want natural immunity. They want you to buy and use their product.

FDA will not approve! Its too cheap and has a 99% efficacy. We must use the Pfizer or Merck $900.00 pill with 30% efficacy./s

The study says that Benadryl helps and lactoferrin (from milk) helps with covid.

However, the two work together to ve more helpful than the sum of the two separately. So each helps 30%, but together they help well over 60%.

Buy it in the sleep aid section. Same medicine and cheaper then when it is labeled as an antihistamine

Benadryl will surely help with the sinuses.

Awaiting my test to get back from lab. Most likely I either had a crappy cold or moronicron.
