On Sunday’s Meet The Press, four talking heads joined with host Chuck Todd to announce that Trump spelled the end of democracy. They have short memories.
On Sunday’s Meet The Press, Chuck Todd gathered around him John Heilemann, a leftist journalist; Marianna Sotomayor, a leftist journalist; Brendan Buck, an ostensible Republican who worked for Ryan and Boehner; and Kimberly Atkins Stohr, a leftist journalist. All five were unanimous: Democracy in America is over because Americans don’t believe that Biden honestly won his seat in the White House. The hyperbole was thick in the air, along with more than a soupçon of hypocrisy, and a huge dollop of fear.
Sundance, at The Conservative Treehouse, caught the roundtable and summed it up thusly:
The NBC media panel for Meet the Press is absolutely apoplectic about their inability to destroy President Donald Trump and his supportive base of pragmatic, awakened Americans. The pearl-clutching and fear are palpable, as the leftist roundtable contemplates future elections that may deconstruct decades of election control, manipulation, fraud and falsehood.
That’s exactly right.
The starting point for the panel discussion was an overwrought article that Bart Gellman wrote for The Atlantic in which he claimed that Trump’s Next Coup Has Already Begun. The premise is that:
Trump and his party have convinced a dauntingly large number of Americans that the essential workings of democracy are corrupt, that made-up claims of fraud are true, that only cheating can thwart the victory at their polls, that tyranny has usurped their government, and that violence is a legitimate response.

The left is exposed and scattering like cockroaches when the light is turned on. They don’t like light at all.
A politician, specifically a former US president, has persuaded many voters to support his ideas.
Democrat Party panics at this terrible threat to democracy. Republican Party agrees that this is terrible news.
They’re worrying because they’re not going to be able to keep the scamdemic fear going to bring back cheat-by-mail-in ballots. If the RINO-controlled state legislatures that rolled over and allowed these ballots can be voted out and replaced with conservative patriots in the 2022 primaries/midterms, then the Democrats are done in 2024(and they know it).
The Democrats could destroy the election fraud claims by simply supporting independent audits.
But they will not allow that.
So, it makes the suspicions grow stronger.
They’re negating their own claim. If the majority of Americans believed violence was the only answer, they wouldn’t be sitting around watching Meet The Press.
Those poor fools.

The only murder was done by a corrupt, lazy, chicken shit cop that should have been booted from the force {except for his skin tone, he would have been gone years ago}.
If or when violence does come, they won't be sitting around a studio talking about it, they will be the targets.

‘Democracy’ didn’t end because of it, but ACCOUNTABILITY of the media, and government, did.
If half of America believes the election was stolen, then do the OBVIOUS - prove it wasn’t stolen. And hint: You don’t prove that simply by calling Trump a liar. You prove it by digging into the details of the specific allegations. For example, with the Texas Supreme Court case, explain why Texas and its 25 or so supporting states were on the WRONG side. Don’t wimp out and so ‘no standing’, explain the case, the Constitution, and what was done....and finally, why that was NOT cheating. Same for the ballots-under-the-table trick. Explain the ‘water leak’ and what looked like multiple scanner runs.
That’s all...do the above if you want ‘Democracy’ back in America. We’re all ears, and we’d like to know why we’re wrong...and telling us we’re wrong because Trump is a liar and mean person does NOT cut it.
This is exactly what I have been saying for a year now.
The simplest child could see that they are afraid the truth will be revealed.

The left contend that every aspect of society is crooked and unjust. From our founding to all our wars to the brave men and women who fought in them, and the financial institutions to the very school curriculum that has educated us all. But the elections ? Those are legit.
When Meet the Press devotes an entire segment to discussing an article from The Atlantic, you know that show is no longer mainstream. It has made itself irrelevant and can’t be taken seriously by anyone with even a modicom of common sense.
They are not “journalist”. They are propagandist and puppets of communist China.
The coup plotters are deadly afraid. They know what’s coming to them.
When they say “democracy” they actually mean their democrat party. They know the people are on to them.
Ah, the gaslighting isn’t effective enough, therefore we must now accuse people of destroying our country because they refuse to be victimized by the lies.
You can’t spend four years telling us Russia corrupted the 2016 election and then swear that our election process is incorruptible.
The article makes that point. To the leftist trash “democracy’ is them winning and controlling everything.
