At school.About 2PM the Principal got on the PA and said something like "Boys and girls...something terrible has happened but I can't tell you what it is". I kid you not!

Being 13,having heard that announcement and remembering the Cuban Missile Crisis some of us wondered if there was gonna be a nuclear attack. I kid you not!

Freshman Latin class.
The teacher was a priest who had been a chaplain under Patton in WWII. He couldn’t make it through a full class period without a cigarette, so he would bail after a half hour or so for 10 minutes. NOBODY dared act up while he was gone LOL.

Came running back into the classroom.
I can still remember the words.
Hey you guys, President Kennedy has been shot by a sniper.

It was Nydia R’s birthday even in Sister Reginald’s classroom. I wished her happy B-day on facebook this morning, and reminded her. The Harvard-Yale game, scheduled for the following day in 1963 was postponed. As one Boston matron observed, “There are other people in the world besides the Kennedys.”

1st grade in Lexington AL. Went to the office to pick up something for my teacher. While there, the principal comes running though the office yelling, “The President just got shot!”

Went back to my room, sat down and nudged my buddy, “Hey, the President just got shot.”

“Nuh uh.”, he said.

The rest of the story is history.

My carbon and other elements were all over the place then, so it’s hard to say. I guess some of the elements were in my mother and father, but they weren’t even dating yet.

I lived in a suburb of Washington DC (My dad was stationed at the Navy Annex) and I remember seeing my mom sitting in front of the television crying.

I was in the third grade, and I was in the hallway getting water to wash my homeroom’s blackboards (it was my turn). That’s where I heard the news of the assassination. I’ll never forget that moment.

The other thing I remember about those days was the air raid drills. We’d all go down to the school’s basement and sit on the dusty concrete floor. I remember that dusty floor.

Anyway, Let’s Go Brandon.

Three years old, still living in Canada. Mother and I were riding public transportation and the JFK news had hit the CBC.

I was at school. We weren’t told but the teachers all knew and were somber. We were sent home a little early. It was on TV when I got home.

My Mom picked me up from second grade on a rainy day in Kansas City. She was crying. That was very unusual.

No. Because 99% of the public do not know how to think any longer. If they could think , they would not be running around wearing the face diapers. And they would not have got the Kickapoo Joy juice injected into their veins.

Walking out of general science class in 8th grade. Heard he got shot between two others.
Saddened by his funeral. If I had known about his fathers shenanigans during ww2...and his intemperate womanizing...and the fake adoration, and Cook County, Illinois...my feeling of loss would have been less. Still ugly mess. People forget Officer J.D. Tippet. He died trying to apprehend Oswald.

I was in school. They announced over the intercom that the President was dead and then a little while later they sent us all home and we didn’t go back to school until the next week. It was like 911 everyone just sat around and watched the TV all day and night.
