Yeah, it's BS. Her drivers license already proves that she has lived in the state x number of years, especially if the address on the Driver's license has the same address on it.

Social Security also probably can provide documentation.

I don’t know that is true. I live in FLorida. I had to go renew my drivers license for the the “real” license that was put into law a few years ago. If I remember correctly, you had to have one of these “real” ID’s in order to fly. I had to have my birth certificate, SS card, marriage license to prove my married name and a bill or other piece of mail with my name and address to prove where I lived. It was ridiculous.
