NEW YORK, NY -- An attorney for Gabby Petito's family expressed skepticism that the parents of her fiancé Brian Laundrie would help in the FBI's ongoing search for him.
"The Laundrie's did not help us find Gabby. They're sure not going to help us find Brian," family attorney Richard Stafford said Tuesday. "For Brian, we're asking you to turn yourself in to the FBI or the nearest law enforcement agency."
The comments came at a news conference featuring Petito's parents and stepparents in which they announced the creation of the Gabby Petito Foundation, which they said would help keep alive her memory and help families in similar situations.

I wish they would have followed the lead of Mel Gibson’s character in, “Ransom.” Set up a gofundme page and put a nationwide bounty on Laundrie, making him more of a lottery ticket than a fugitive.

My suspicion is that the FBI helped Laundrie hide for a while. An effort to keep the headlines/distraction going to protect Biden/Obama from the multiple crises headlining the news cycle.

I think the FBI wants this story as a distraction from J6 and their other gestapo entrapment schemes.
The FBI needs to be seen by the stupid people as necessary.
Maybe because they dont know.
Maybe because she was partially consumed by wildlife and cant figure it out.
Maybe because they have screwed up.

It’s the parents who need to turn themselves in, the son is probably dead.
Instead Occam's directs that professional advice administered to keep him out of sight until the passion of the moment wears off, and then they can try and taint a jury by victim-blaming much, much easier.
