Yep, the truth is uncomfortable for a lot of folks. Morality regarding marriage developed the way it did over thousands of years for good reasons. Some may consider it silly, old-fashioned prudery to think there’s anything the slightest bit wrong with a young woman shacking up on a cross-country road trip with her boyfriend. But this young woman would have benefited from a bit of that sort of old-fashioned prudery from her family.
Two diff arguments
Yes marriage is preferable
No question....it and Christendom is what made western civilization the premier civilizing force of the entire planet
And now we’re demonized for it
No it doesn’t have to end in murder in non marriage relationships
It’s hard to ascertain but it seems that maybe the murder rate for non married partners either sex is only about 10-15% higher rate than married partners murdering one another
Another little factoid is for every 90-100 men who kill their wives in the USA .....75-80 women kill their husbands
That is damn close.....
Maybe I should make breakfast in the morning....run her bath....warm that bath sheet in the dryer first
