My fellow FReepers. Once again I remind you all that there a lot of angry over medicated and empowered people out there that aren’t feeling the daily impact of the justice system.
The hustle bustle of daily life makes us careless in our personal security. Nothing is more important. Situational awareness is paramount in our daily lives now. Even in familiar places where you normally feel safe. Not that the New York City subway system is one of those places.
Please practice your situational awareness.
Not sure if that woman was a local or a tourist but most locals know better than to demand politeness from the vermin that surround them. Demanding that somebody say "excuse me" can be fighting words in any part of the country.
Of course, I'm not excusing in any way the violent actions of this punk - I hope he gets the book thrown at him.
I never go anywhere without some form of self defense and I live in small town U.S.A. where the crime stats are starting to explode.
I have said long before our present crisis; "The trouble with the Law, is it handicaps Law abiding citizens."
What I mean is if there is no law enforcement, the law abiding people are at a disadvantage.
You can see that now in many aspects of our daily life. Including watching the Biden group thrashing our Constitution, our Military, opening up our borders to invaders, while the Law abiding await for a far off in the future solution to the problem.
Laws should be enforced right now.- Tom
