This new piece from Reuters - hardly a outpost of anti-vax fanaticism - should terrify vaccine advocates.
And, honestly, scare the rest of us.
A reminder: Britain has pursued a mass vaccination strategy as aggressively as any country. It approved Pfizer’s vaccine even before the FDA. More than 80% of Britons over 16 are now fully vaccinated.
But Britain is in far worse shape than it was at this time last year, when no one was vaccinated. It is now averaging about 140 deaths a day, roughly 10 times as many as mid-September 2020. And hospitalizations and deaths continue to rise.

The important numbers are the rates of covid cases between vaccinated and unvaccinated. Does anyone have those numbers? The has to be some split between vaccinated and unvaccinated.
As others have pointed out....they muddied the clear definition of those ‘important numbers’ by counting/not counting partially ‘vax’d, ‘vax’d wishin 14 days, etc.
Besides....isn’t the fact that, with more than 80% of Britons over 16 are now fully ‘vax’d.....Britain is in FAR WORSE shape than it was at this time last year, when no one was vaccinated??
And, that it is now averaging about 140 deaths/day, TEN TIMES as many as this time, last year...not enough GOOD/IMPORTANT info for you???

That “14 days” is for U.S. data in some reports, not all. This is about U.K. data, not U.S. data.

Isn't the fact that DEATHS are TEN TIMES HIGHER, in Briton, now, with 80% of Britons over 16 now fully 'vax'd....compared to last year, when NO ONE was 'vax'd ... and, deaths and hospitalizations continue to rise....not explanatory and "important" enough for you??
Both, especially because they are continuing the vaxes causing deaths rather than stopping them.

Honestly, I DO NOT KNOW. There is so much going on and so much talking about talking about a story, finding the actual story and data is like going thorugh a maze.
That is why having the data about numbers vaxed and unvaxed, who is and isn't sick, etc is important.
Well....EIGHTY PERCENT are fully ‘vax’d, in UK.
TWENTY PERCENT are UN-vaxed.
DEATHS are up TEN TIMES, compared to last year, when 100% were UN-vaxd.
Pretty much says it all.
Deaths are very low in UK compared to two earlier peaks when nearly 1000 were dying per day and over 1200 were dying per day.
This third wave is very attenuated compared to the first two.
Articles like this are liberal pro-government scaremongering to keep mask mandates in place, keep kids out of school, etc...

A couple of days after the Presidential election Alex Berenson went on the Tucker Carlson show to talk about a specific topic. Instead he went on a rant about how people should stop wasting their time whining about the election results and Instead concentrate on working with the Biden administration. Not only did Tucker not challenge or interrupt him, a few days later he had him back on as a guest. He stayed on topic but Tucker never asked him if he would like to clarify or modify any of the comments from his last appearance. That was the last time I watched Tucker Carlson or Fox News.
Pretty much sums it up. Why anyone still considers these jabs “safe and effective” is mind numbing.
For anyone who is required to take tests, Amazon sells FDA approved at home tests. Blow your nose into a tissue and sample that, if it’s necessary. Don’t stick the swab in your nose.
