What I Learned about Democrats from the Inside
American Thinker ^ | 8 Sep, 2021 | Renee Parsons

I can attest to the fact that many Dems do not follow politics closely enough to grasp what has happened to the party over the years.

It is more than difficult to grasp that Americans of the Democrat ilk remain unable to see through the illegitimacy of the Biden regime, especially in view of the Afghanistan catastrophe. It seems that Dems are myopic to political reality as they remain victims of Trump Derangement Syndrome and willfully ignorant of the fact that the country is experiencing an escalation of multiple crisis occurring simultaneously. And that these crises, deliberate and intentional, are focused on destroying American sovereignty as well as our guaranteed freedoms and privileges set in place since George Washington presided over the Constitutional Convention in 1787.

We now know that the Dem reality is sufficiently skewed as to represent a startlingly different truth of how the world operates and that today's Dems are no longer the same party many of us signed up for years ago. Since the 2016 election, they have revealed themselves to be more akin to liberal fascists, offering a kind of benign tyranny with rough edges as they espouse a view that all areas of life must be subject to the State's dictates, with its purpose to assure a uniformity of national intent to align with their version of a perfect world order.

I can attest to the fact that many Dems do not follow politics closely enough to grasp what has happened to the anti–Vietnam War party or the party that once cherished civil liberties. They are the Facebook wing of the Democrat party who are addicted to social media on a daily basis. By rote, without any intellectualizing, they remain devoted to what was once a proud Democrat party tradition. Those days are over

The democrats have embraced the evil of control freak tyrants that have brutalized societies before them. They crave the power, even the power of life and death.

I so much want to tell this author, he still got it wrong. He thinks that there are Dems and Republicans. There is mostly one party in DC, and they want money. They want kickbacks, they want their kids to sit on boards of international companies, they want taxpayer money.

Trump didn’t need taxpayer money. He called oh the theft. They impeached him over it. Then comes Joe Biden, well, can you get dirtier than him? They wanted a leader (the people who take the people’s money) that would ensure it would continue.

This is so true.

"The Dems have abandoned America in favor of an illusory doomed fantasy of a socialist/communist world with no understanding of its true future implications of less freedom, less happiness, more censorship, increased inflation with a lower standard of living, and more State control with a "free" economy where nothing is "free."

willfully ignorant

The cover words for, "I believe the lies, because I want to".

Facts don't matter if they contradict my beliefs.

The author is ignorant of the democRAT party past. The “anti–Vietnam War party” was really the “Pro communist North Vietnamese party”. They don’t mention the 1 million or more civilians that the communists in Vietnam killed.

So I have this cousin who lives up north and I see his posts on Instagram. Just a way to keep in touch with distant family but I never really pay much attention to Instagram. But every now and then I get a chuckle...

The other day this cousin posted a pic from his local small town newspaper. It was a large dog with a quote balloon next to him that read something to the effect of “I can tell when Joe Biden is lying because his lips are moving.”

He followed up commenting that, “well, this was the last time I’ll ever buy that newspaper!” Haha, the responses from his friends read like they were all in a therapy session for emotionally distraught children.

It was like driving by a car wreck. I was disturbed by what I was witnessing but I could not look away...

Yep. Seems to be a “look at me, I’m a RESPONSIBLE commie” type of column.

Good article. It took her a long time, but she finally figured things out. I was a lot like that myself. I used to vote ‘rat, and when I did, I did not drill deep below the surface of politics. Once I began to, I realized how full of crap the ‘rats were. I had voted for Clinton in ‘92, but by 1994 I was pulling the lever for the GOP Contract for America.

All true, but this was still a good article.

I think the two takeaways in the truth in Dems say one thing and do another. All. The. Time.

And that a lot of them are ignorant social media readers, that just don’t know what is really going on, because in their bubble, everything is fine.
