Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who got vaccinated in July because of the NFL’s unending pressure to get the COVID shots, has been placed on the NFL’s COVID reserve list and will now miss five to 10 days.
Adam Schefter reports that the Titans now have three players and two coaches dealing with COVID.
“The NFL has kind of made it clear what they want to happen. If you don’t fall in line, they’re gonna to make your life miserable with all the protocols,” Tannehill said in July. “I wouldn’t have gotten the vaccine, without the protocols that they’re enforcing on us,” he added. “I think it’s a personal decision for everyone, everyone has to make the best decision for them and their families. That’s kind of our mindset in this building. But they’re trying to force your hand and they ultimately have forced a lot of hands by the protocols.”
Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who is double vaccinated, tested positive for covid and is now out a substantial number of days. The NFL covid policy was predicated on breakthrough cases not existing after vaccination. It’s broken. Huge mess for the season coming.

“It is what it is,” Tannehill continued. “I love this game, I love this team. I want to be able to compete and do the things I think are important to build chemistry and win football games. Ultimately that forced my hand into getting the vaccine.”
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports that vaccinated players who test positive can return to team facilities with TWO NEGATIVE tests 24 hours apart. Pelissero adds that everyone in the Titans facility, no matter their vaccination status, has been going through testing over the last few days.
Titans are placing QB Ryan Tannehill on the Reserve/COVID 19 list, per source. He now will miss anywhere from 5-10 days, depending on his status.

Ping!......................
If the vaccine works...why doesn’t it work?
I guess a positive to all of the “vaccinated testing positive” scare is it may take down the NFL a few more notches.
Clearly he wasn't single vaccinated, nor double vaccinated.
It's not a vaccine and it doesn't work anyway.
The NFL is a joke!
Awesome “vaccine”.
It IS working.
Just not the way they told us..........................
Where are they burying all these gravely ill vaccinated NFL players? Oh, that’s right, they’re “cases” that tested positive and not the least bit ill.
Remind us why we are supposed to get the jab?
Did that Bills WR still not get the “vaccine”?
Former Cowboy, Beasley? I don’t know.................
The “vaccines” are working. They are a cure for Wuhan flu hysteria, not a vaccine for the flu. Hysteria sufferers who get the vaccine overcome their hysteria, drop their precautions and get the flu. The success of the vaccinations is measured by the number of vaccinated who get the flu.
The problem now is they are going to mandate it for people who aren’t afraid of Covid, and don’t want the “vaccine”.
Early in the pandemic, cruise lines and military vessels were excellent sources of unbiased data on the infection and fatality rate of this virus, because a) the data couldn't be faked and b) everyone involved was effectively homogenous.
With the NFL, we have the same situation....we know everyone's vaxx status AND who has tested positive etc. True, professional football players aren't a random samp,et of society, but I'll take what I can get.
That Master List could be very handy in assessing this sort of thing.
And c) isolated .....................
Get a Physician with Ivermectin or HCQ to treat him and he’ll be good to go in 48 hours....
Rare breakthrough case. Rare. Like Great White sharks off of Cape Cod.
Now at first glance, the Bears are so bad you could probably start Ryan's mom at QB and win.
But Vrabel is going to be out too, and so are six other starters.
So Downing is going to call the plays but Vrable has insisted that Matt Barkley rotate series with Logan Woodside.
Titans actually went from favorite to dog when Ryan got pulled, but surely with the O trying to steer 2 backup QBs, the Under (36) is the play.
But I also don't care about the bubble this time. In fact, the bubble is "unnecessary"... the whole point of the vaccine is to PROTECT AGAINST CONTRACTING the bug. Thus, some who got these shots should feel comfortable going about their business without restrictions.
Viruses gonna virus. Mutations happen. It's life. But the pushers of these shots were silent on this topic. Frankly, anyone who got these shots should be peeved that they didn't do what they were promised to do, and shouldn't laugh at hyper-due diligence.
