Petting zoos aren’t what they used to be.

Why in the heck did the management allow that man to fend for himself after the woman got free? Surely they have protocols in place for that sort of incident.
On the upside, that guys’s children have a story to tell their friends featuring their brave dad, the alligator wrestler who saved the damsel in distress.

Bringing an alligator to a children’s birthday party.
Am I wrong in thinking that’s incredibly stupid?

Everytime I read another article about that story, I wonder what would the trainer have done if no one else happened to be around. Or if no one was there who felt confident enough to jump into that tiny pool and wrestle the gator?
Personally, I would not have jumped in. I would have tried to get help into that area for her. I can barely swim in the first place, let alone while wrestling some wild and hungry beast underwater.

Maybe having a gun available at this event would be a good decision. I would question the authenticity of this but the guy had his hand stuck in the alligator’s mouth.
