A 24-year-old Turkish woman who lost both of her arms and legs after catching a life-threatening blood illness is hoping for a rare double-arm transplant to improve her life, according to reports.
Dental technician Beyza Dogan contracted meningococcal meningitis while living in Cologne, Germany, four years ago, the UK’s Mirror reported. Her kidneys collapsed due to blood poisoning and she ended up having all four limbs amputated.

We have a local school principal that caught the flu. Complications resulted in losing both arms and legs. Specialists in Pittsbhrgh have given her prosthetics for both. She is learning how to walk again abd take care of herself. Attitude is absolutely amazing. Spoke at local University commencement. Says she will be back to work by fall. A friend had carpal tunnel in both wrists and had both repaired at the same time.
They only did both at once because his wife said she would be with him 24/7.
But not exactly 24/7, she had to grocery shoping...
He said there are so many things we use our hands for without thinking until we are stuck without them.
He had many funny stories.

YES! Someone is taking very good care of her.
And sadly, her mother will not be there forever.
