Teaching?! My a$$! The only profession less trustworthy than DC politics is teaching.
Buahahahahahahaha!
This must be sponsored by the Teacher’s Unions.
Justifying their BIG Covid-19 pay raisies.
Pretty stressful. Nothing compared to a Pipeline worker on a schedule........Oh, I forgit, they wre cancelled.....right ......the job of being an ex-pipeline worker is FAR MORE STRESSFULL, you leftist biatches!
No one panicked more about the virus than the teachers. Made no sense. Their stress is self-induced.
Teacher’s are overwhelmingly liberal, therefore overwhelmingly they have a mental disorder. Do the math.
ER doctors and nurses...
ER doctors and nurses...
Crappola.
Yes I guess the stress of having the actual customers (parents) of their work being able to see what they are paying for must have been tough to bear.
As a landlord, I enjoyed having people going nuts in my building …while not getting paid for it. Quite a treat.
Cry me a river. The vast majority of teachers are leftist illiterates. It would be “transformative” is shuttering government indoctrination centers and filling unemployment lines with teachers.
the teachers are worthless but they think they are heroes
Lazy ass teachers refused to return to the classroom until ordered by our governor. I’ll remember that.
When I was in the sign business, I climbed an 85’ ladder truck to service a Waffle House sign that was in, St Cloud, FL, an area with no sign height ordinances so the ladder was extended the full 85’. The truck was a mid 70s Chevy and the ladder/crane unit was built in the 50s. Each letter was a 4’x4’ cabinet with hinged faces but someone had removed some of the wrong screws so when I pull the bottom screws, instead of hinging, it dropped and I had to catch it. Got it fixed and on my final trip down, I got woozy from the 98 degree humid heat. Not a good place to pass out. I made it down though.
Another time, I was inside a cabinet that had neon letters on both sides. We had turned the service switch off but someone had bypassed it and the timer kicked on while I was inside. I had a few inches on either side of me with 50 brass studs that suddenly had 15,000 volts to them. Good thing I had someone to go inside the restaurant and find the timer and shut it down.
Tell me about your stressful job, teach.
Teacher the most stressful job? That’s a bunch of B.S. The communist Chicago Public School teachers basically had a paid one year vacation courtesy of the Democrats.
What a crock. Was this story commissioned by the NEA? I can think of SCADS of jobs that would have been more stressful than teaching. What...they had to learn how to use Zoom? The horror!
I thought it would have been DEMONCRAT Ballot Box Stuffers or DEMONCRAT Vote Counters.
try being called "essential" and having to be around covid sickly people for 12 hrs and then go home to your family....
teachers are overly sampled for opinion....around here, the teachers haul in over $100,000 a year for their 185 work days and for the last year they've been mostly home in their pj's...
I’m sure there are many other more stressful jobs than teaching. But what caused the stress for teachers (even before china virus) is when they took away the paddles for correction.
The coaches with a paddle kept the boys from getting out of line during class. And the girls sure didn’t want to get embarrased by having to go sit or stand in the corner, or go to Saturday detention school for a few hours...so they behaved.
Teachers were able to teach. Students were not allowed to talk to another student while the teacher was teaching. The few discipline problems which arose each day were dealt with. This is how it still should be in schools, but the world has gotten crazier and slowly losing all common sense.
Don’t they actually have to TEACH to have job related stress?
.
Unionized, government employee, 3/4 of a year pubic school teachers have NO idea what work is like in competitive (non-unionized), performance-based, annually reviewed real world workland.
They’ve been stressed by sitting at home doing mostly nothing, with maybe some Zoom classes later on? Oh, my goodness...no wonder our Millennials are so easily stressed out — they had it modeled at school.
