No they aren’t. Flue decreases and burns out vaccinated or not.

The shots have proved nothing.

This is why a man I know that has Wegener’s Granulomatosis can’t get the shot. It would likely kill him in one of the fastest cytokine storms, or some other horrific immuno-overreaction, ever recorded.

“We have no idea what the medium-term, let alone long-term, effects are.”

It is my non-credentialed belief that since the mRNA vaccines coat their mRNA to protect it for a period of time, that therefore once the coating is pretty much gone and the mRNA released into the cells of the body that the risk of future side effects is also pretty much gone.

This! As someone who has been dealing with the medical community for 9 years since the onset of cancer, I can share that they had me on 8 different drugs to control seizures. I spent the last 4 years tapering and decreasing some horrible head meds. I’m now taking ONE rx and am feeling healthier than I have in many years.
Not one doc ever suggested that I taper or come off of any of those drugs.
YOU know your body best and personal medical decisions are just that, private and personal.

Attenuated vaccines obviously outweigh their negatives.

This a treatment and I will wait a couple years to see how it goes for those treated.

I have Graves Disease which is also an autoimmune disorder which attacks the thyroid and causes hyperthyroidism. Left untreated, it leads to a goiter. As a treatment, my thyroid gland was destroyed with radioactive iodine and I have been taking synthetic thyroid (synthroid) since 1991. I also had to undergo 7 eye surgeries as a result of the disease.

I had both of the Pfizer shots in March and have experienced no side effects.

I am not an anti-vaxxer on principle, but I am leery of these mRNA vaccines. I have been vaccinated for any number of diseases including influenza, but this one worries me. I think it works to reduce deaths, that is obvious from the steep declines we have seen since the vaccine was introduced. The long term effects and especially when third, fourth, and fifth booster shots become necessary are what are concerning and the fact that there has been no long term testing. Is it safe for people with auto-immune diseases? Are their impacts on the reproductive system? Those are not trivial concerns especially in light of the fact that a number of effective treatments are emerging.

I have MS, and any vaccination will throw me into a severe MS exacerbation. We (Doctors and I) had to learn this the hard way when I had an exacerbation after a pneumonia vaccine, many moons ago (I had had less severe exacerbations after vaccines before that, but I must have hit the tipping point.) At that point my doctor and my neuro agreed, no more vaccinations.

An autoimmune disease doesn’t mean you have a low immune system, in fact, in an autoimmune disease, your own immune system is attacking your body. In MS, the immune system is attacking the myelin sheath around the nerves.

So your friend’s experience might be similar to mine, not true for all those with autoimmune disease, but each case is different.

You do realize that was sarcasm? Here’s some more...

Those that choose to play Russian roulette with guns are neither right or wrong. And those that choose not to are not smarter or more rational thinking than the ones that do.

And many actual experts firmly disagree on that.

Good for you. God bless you and hope you feel better

My older brother had high blood pressure and cholesterol, and was slightly overweight. Doctor prescribed statins, right out of the box.

He started having strong numbness in his legs, extreme cramps and headaches. Doctor then wanted to prescribe something else for that.

My brother did his own research and found that these are very common side effects of statins. The cure was worse than the disease. So he stopped statins and worked hard to change his diet - admittedly, things which he should have done from the start.

LOL! And the winners, or losers, depending on your point of view, will do no thinking ‘moving forward’.

“I have been vaccinated for any number of diseases including influenza,”

I just posted earlier today that researchers did studies and found that those who had previously gotten flu vaccines were more likely to catch and/or die from covid due to something the flu vaccines had altered in the body.

It was a very serious remark. The fact that went right over your head shows who the ignorant one is.

We have Fauci and all our govt health bureaucracies...telling even dying people since last spring that HCQ and ivermectin are too risky to try

We want to trust them on being part of this vaccine trial, however?

Everyone who makes it past week 3 post-vaccine thinks the risks were worth the benefits, Let’s revisit that after a true test run of 6 months to several years.

The REAL propaganda comes from the anti-vaxxer cult.

“Covid vaccines are proven to reduce death rates”

I am skeptical of that. I don’t think that there has been enough time to prove anything about these substances.

“It’s better to wind up merely sick for a short time than dead.”

I have read that the death rate is very, very, very, very low.

Given my list of “comorbidities,” the flu could take me out, no problem. Dead from the flu, dead from the ‘rona, what’s the diff?

Especially since so many cases of the flu are being dishonestly listed as ‘rona.
