COVID is hardly a death sentence. I hardly think it is unethical to withhold a medicine during drug trials. It’s sort of how science is done. Unless, of course, you want to spoil the science, muddy the water, and hide the evidence.
I thought I’ve seen mention over nearly 10,000 deaths, maybe that was for all of the experimental vaccines combined?
When reading this type of thing always remember that evil is virtue, up is down, left is right, and if it seems like it might be best for the group putting individuals at risk is good.

Yep.
A friend of mine took part in a trial test last year and he didn’t know which group he was in. The administrators said that it wouldn’t matter because each pool of subjects would be given both placebo and vaccine (in different sequence).
We’ll never accurately know the long term affects.
Most people do not know that the actual number for “adverse events” reports to VAERS after covid vax is actually well over 250,000 according to the CDC, not 56,869.
The 56,000+ number is the number of reports that VAERS has PUBLISHED not the number of reports they have received. They only have the capacity to publish 5-7,000 a week. They are months behind.
I have posted and linked twice to two different news sources who have gotten the total numbers from the CDC. The first one was when the number was 205,000 and the second one a week later from a different news source was 233,000....an increase of 28,000 in just one week.
Weeks ago I also posted a link to an animated graph that showed the numbers PUBLISHED by the week and each week VAERS would go back and dramatically fill in numbers all the way back to January.

Not from any credible source. What you’ve seen is anti-vaxxer propaganda which implies that all deaths after receiving the vaccine must be caused by the vaccine. That’s the logical equivalent of claiming a crowing rooster causes the sun to rise.

What an absurd claim. The control groups received a saline solution as a placebo. They didn’t receive an alternative treatment/vaccine. There is no difference between the control groups and the general population.

How many of those ‘adverse events’ are nothing more than sore arms, slight fevers, IOW, the things one might expect after a vaccination. BTW, just because there was an event does not mean it was caused by the vaccination.
