PORTLAND, Ore. - An Indiana man who met with Governor Eric Holcomb about police reform is facing the most serious charges yet related to last summer’s violent protests in Portland.

Malik Muhammad, 24, is charged with two counts of attempted aggravated murder and other crimes, according to court records.

Records indicate Muhammad was booked into the Marion County Jail in Indianapolis on Friday, KGW reported. He is awaiting extradition to Oregon, where he will face felony charges.

Several agencies, including the Portland Police Bureau, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police and the FBI were involved in the months-long investigation.

According to a law enforcement source, the attempted aggravated murder charges stem from two separate incidents in which Muhammad is suspected of throwing lit Molotov cocktails at police officers.

The first of the incidents occurred on Sept. 21, according to law enforcement.

Tonight we honor Fred “the Dorf” Dorman.

Go ahead, hug a cop! Yeah I said it!

Did you steal the car?

I sure did!

Well, I’m not even sure that’s a crime anymore.

Stage 2 about here and woah, there’s Fred. Won’t he be surprised?

On a related note, surely there are people here who can remember in their lifetimes that both Portland and Seattle were genuinely nice places to visit and even live in. And this would have been that good bit before they became the open toilets that they are now because of people like this character and his commie politician enablers.

I was in Seattle in the late 80s and loved it. I met a few people who could tell I was visiting and their eyes would sort of narrow a little and they’d ask, “Are you from California?” and I’d say, “No” and they’d sigh and say, “Good. We don’t need more people from California.”

Here it is 30+ years later, and I’d say Seattle and Portland have received more than enough people from California.

I remember this guy. The press fawned over him as a poor oppressed black man that just wanted to be a farmer. He got press time with the mayor of Indianapolis and the governor “asking” for support for minority farmers and how the police oppressed him.

Yeah - this doesn’t surprise me at all...

It is hard to assimilate large groups from other places that have their own gravitational pull.

(Born and raised in Oregon, and not only Portland, but the entire state does have far too many people from California).
