U.S. Governemnt emails from Grenada?

Am subscribed to an FDA mailing list regarding Prescription Drug recalls and interactions. Emails always came from domain "FDA.GOV". Today, FDA emails are coming from "Granicus" at a ".gr" domain. Duck-Duck go search for "Granicus" says they are a government website host. But hosting from Grenada? Something does not sound "right"....

“.gr” is the TLD for Greece, not Grenada. Grenada is “.gd”. That only refers to the registry for the domain name, though. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the server is in Greece.

Hmm, let's think about it for a minute. What would happen if somebody forged an email so that it looked like it was from the FDA but it was really from some random hacker...

By the way, if you get an email telling you that some government official overseas has a lot of money that they need help spending don't start feeling lucky.

But if you want learned assistance, post the whole string, not just the .gr

Can you send an inquiry to fda.gov? Maybe it is a spoofed e-mail.

The emails claim to be from <usfda@public.govdelivery.com. I suspect it may be legit because I am getting emails daily like this, and no other “normal” FDA emails, so if it’s a scam they somehow replaced the actual FDA daily emails.
