Two men and a woman were rescued from a deserted island on Tuesday after surviving on coconuts, conch and rats for 33 days, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
The Coast Guard spotted people waving handmade flags on Monday
The Coast Guard picked up the case as a rescue mission and returned to drop water, food and a radio to them on Monday.

The choice-stranded with a young Brook Shields or Jane Fonda? Think. My choice would be Jane fonda because she works out and can climb up the trees to get the coconuts.
IV hydration?
That sounds risky.
The coconut milk industry has done a decent job of marketing it’s product as a healthier alternative to energy drinks because it has natural electrolytes in it, but from what I’ve read the stuff you buy off the shelf is still heavily processed.
I wouldn’t trust anything organic/biologic or exposed/contaminated going directly into my bloodstream.
